Call for Applications: ECORD Research Grants 2026
The European Consortium for Ocean Research Drilling (ECORD) has issued a call for applications for merit-based awards to sponsor outstanding young scientists at the Ph.D. or postdoctoral level to conduct research related to the International Ocean Drilling Programme (IODP).
These ECORD grants will cover travel and lab expenses or other approved costs related to the research. Applications should be in a mini-proposal format, with grant budgets not exceeding 4000 €. The focus of the proposed study should be on available core material and/or data from completed IODP expeditions, and the researcher must hold a position within an ECORD country. The application deadline is December 31st, 2025.
