2023 NFSI Marine Seismology Workshop on this week
The NFSI Marine Seismology Workshop, at Dalhousie University, is on this week. The course will provide hands-on training to graduate students and postdocs in marine seismology, including OBS instrument deployment/recovery, location on the seafloor, data collection, data processing, and survey proposal planning. The program includes lectures, hands-on tutorials on the computer, NFSI lab and facility tours, and a mock deployment at sea. Participants include NFSI, NSERC-CREATE iMAGE and PRODIGY, and NORRAM students. .
