IAVCEI Commission of Submarine Volcanism: March 2022 Updates
Goldschmidt 2022 (Final Abstract Call)
Goldschmidt 2022 will be a hybrid conference from 10-15 July, 2022 between Honolul, Hawai’i, and remote participation. Remote registration is waived ($0) for all professionals and student participants from low and lower-middle income economies – please pass this onto colleagues and collaborators who may be eligible.
Sessions that may be of interest to CREATE members (submarine volcanism and hydrothermal activity) for abstract submission are:
4e – Fluid-rock interactions along plate margins
4i – Oceanic crust magmatic systems: from spreading ridges to ocean islands
5h – Submarine volcanism and hydrothermalism: Fluids, melts, and eruptions
8i – Ancient to Modern Marine Mineral Deposits: Metal Fluxes and Mechanisms of Formation
14c – Seafloor hydrothermal processes on modern and ancient Earth
Upcoming cruises to follow:
Here are two submarine volcanism and hydrothermal cruises about to begin that you can follow on social media:
