Back by popular demand, the SEG Distinguished and Traveling Lecturers will be featured on December 8 during a free virtual symposium showcasing their preeminent talks in economic geology. The lecturers are globally recognized individuals who serve as ambassadors for the Society and who are notable authorities in their respective fields.
Each lecturer will provide a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session, allowing attendees a great opportunity to interact with each of the lecturers. This symposium will continue the mission of the SEG Lecturer Program to reach a broader world-wide audience, especially students and early career professionals.
SEG President Chico Azevedo and SEG President-Elect Stuart Simmons will also join the symposium and share their aspirations and goals for the future of the Society. SEG Vice President for Regional Affairs Mike Venter will share updates and opportunities for student members as well. So please join us as we wrap up the year with these outstanding speakers and look forward to an exciting 2023 and beyond!
