SEG Mentoring Program Discussion
Date and Time: Thursday, May 6, 2021 5:00pm MDT (UTC-6)
Mentorships are a critical piece of career development for geoscientists in all stages but are particularly important for students and early career professionals. This free online event will introduce the SEG Mentoring Program, discuss the importance of mentorship within the exploration industry, and highlight new initiatives to make this a benefit more widely accessible to SEG members globally.
This is a superb opportunity to hear from established economic geologists who have utilized mentorship as building blocks for their careers and to learn about the extraordinary value that it brings. Successful mentor-mentee pairs from both industry and academia will discuss their unique experiences with mentoring and how these interactions have guided and enhanced their careers in meaningful ways.
Presented by the SEG Students and ECP Committees.
