A report from the AGU 2024, Washington D.C.
iMAGE-CREATE hosted a very successful session at this year’s AGU in Washington D.C. on the 9th of December. The oral session, V11B Linking Magmatic, Tectonic, and Hydrothermal Processes in Arc–Back-Arc and Mid-Ocean Ridge Settings was one of the very first sessions of AGU and was attended by over 90 people. Later that afternoon, the poster session was also well attended with great discussions about the participant’s research.
A total of six iMAGE-CREATE trainees presented at AGU, Sarah Moriarty (Memorial University), Dan Stepner (University of Ottawa), Jade Umbsaar (University of Toronto), Sam Nichols (University of Toronto), Quan Zhang (University of Ottawa), and Pinar Gurun (Dalhousie University). Three iMAGE-CREATE contributors, Erin Bethell, Chris Galley and Alan Baxter (University of Ottawa) also presented posters.
