Five iMAGE-CREATE students presented their research at the 2025 PDAC – SEG Student Minerals Colloquium (SMC) in Toronto last week
The SMC highlights student research concentrating on innovative projects essential for the successful evolution of the modern mining industry. Over the years, this event has featured hundreds of poster presentations from BSc, MSc, and PhD students around the world studying minerals deposits and related disciplines, and provides industry professional with an unparalleled opportunity to support ongoing student research related to the mining industry.
Carlos Braga and Rhian Dentelbeck from the University of Ottawa presented their research on seafloor massive sulfides along the Juan De Fuca spreading ridge and Archean Shales respectively
